When the ball valve is closed, there is still fluid under pressure in the valve body.
1. Before maintenance, relieve the pipeline pressure and make the valve open; cut off the power or air source; separate the actuator from the bracket.
2. After confirming that the upstream and downstream pipelines of the ball valve have been relieved of pressure, the disassembly operation can be carried out.
3. When disassembling and reassembling, care should be taken to prevent damage to the sealing surface of the parts, especially non-metal parts. It is best to take out the O-rings with special tools.
4. When assembling, the bolts on the flange must be tightened symmetrically, gradually and evenly.
5. The cleaning agent should be compatible with rubber parts, plastic parts, metal parts and working media (such as gas). When using gas, gasoline (GB484-89) can be used to clean metal parts. Clean non-metal parts with pure water or alcohol.
6. After cleaning, the non-metal parts should be taken out of the cleaning agent immediately, and should not be soaked for a long time.
7. After cleaning, you need to wait for the wall surface cleaning agent to be washed to evaporate (can be wiped with a silk cloth not soaked in the cleaning agent) to assemble, but do not leave it for a long time, otherwise it will rust and be contaminated by dust.
8. It is also necessary to clean the new parts before assembly.
9. When assembling, there must be no metal debris, fiber, grease (except for the prescribed use), dust, other impurities, foreign matter, etc., contaminate, adhere to or stay on the surface of the part or enter the cavity. If there is a slight leak in the filling part, it must be re-locked Stem nut.
Note: Do not over-tighten, generally lock 1/4 turn to 1 turn, the leakage will stop.
